I put in the request for the Hamden Middle School. The Walk is scheduled for September 26, 2010. 11am - 1 pm. Registration opening at 9:30.

Welcome! I can't wait to get started on the Hamden Walk for 2010! This is the place to brainstorm and get creative. In a week a week or so I will start posting chair positions and everyone can get a chance to see what part of the committee they feel would be best for them. Thank you for checking in.

Author Symposium

LFA CT chapter is putting an a fabulous Author Symposium. We need volunteers to join the committee and help with planning and preparation before and the day of the event. The event is scheduled for February 6,2010. No experience required, just a willingness to help and a great attitude! Contact office@lupusct.org.

Having a Blast!

Volunteering is such an amazing feeling. To know that you are truely making a difference is really uplifting. I've volunteered at the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) Connecticut Chapter for about a year now. It's fabulous because I give what I can. No pressure. I've met many incredible people who all want to make things better. We just completed Walk for Lupus Now at the Hamden Middle School and it was awesome. Now we're considering a gala in the Fairfield County area and are looking for volunteers. If this is something you are interested in contact the Lupus Foundation at lsartorius@lupusct.org .
